Retractable Plate

The product is very easy to install & should only take around 10 minutes.

We'd recommend wiring the Flip Plate up to the battery for a second so you can fully extend the plate, this way you can see how it sits on the front bumper.

Then simply find the location you want to install it (usually lower grill or under the bumper)

Next you'll want to screw the metal rail to the bumper (there are multiple screw holes all across the rail)

Make sure none of the screws are in the way of the metal pully cable.

Next, connect the wires to the motor, the included instructions will tell you how to easily spot the positive and negative terminals.

Then connect the other side (the exposed black and red wires) to either the cars battery, or tap it into a 12V fuse, the same way you would with a dashcam.

Now you're all done! If you're in a wet environment (like the UK) we also recommend fitting the rubber shell around the motor to protect it from rain.

In the UK, it's legal to have a flip plate as long as you don't operate it in public. So to stay out of trouble, keep your plate visible when in public.

However, some officers may argue that it's illegal and that you're attempting to obstruct your license plate. But if you're not operating it on public roads, you won't get stopped as they'll have no idea. So we recommend being a sensible law abiding citizen (unless you're in Mexico)
